Code of Conduct

Last updated: 27 April 2026

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected of everyone involved in a Palooza engagement: clients, guests, talent, vendors, and Palooza personnel. Acceptance of a Palooza Proposal is acceptance of this Code.

1. Mutual respect

Treat everyone present at an engagement — talent, vendors, staff, guests, and Palooza personnel — with courtesy and respect. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, slurs, and aggressive behaviour are not tolerated.

2. Scope of services

The services provided at any Palooza engagement are limited to those agreed in writing in the Proposal — for example, hosting, performance, presentation, MC duties, atmosphere, photography, marketing, or other named deliverables. Anything outside the Proposal is outside the engagement.

Services of a sexual nature are not offered, performed, paid for, or transacted in any Palooza engagement, on or off our platform. Any request, suggestion, or pressure to that effect is grounds for immediate termination of the engagement without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

3. Talent rights

All talent are independent professionals. They have the right at any time to decline a request, leave the engagement, or end it entirely if:

  • They feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
  • They are asked to perform anything outside the Proposal.
  • This Code, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law is being breached.
  • Their personal boundaries are not being respected.

No refund is owed where a talent exercises this right in response to a client breach.

4. Recording and privacy

Photography, audio, and video recording of talent, guests, or Palooza personnel is only permitted with their explicit, contemporaneous consent. Even with consent, recordings may not be published, redistributed, or commercially exploited without separate written permission.

5. Substances and safety

Engagements take place in safe, lawful environments. Illegal drug use is not permitted. Excessive intoxication that creates a safety or harassment risk is grounds for ending the engagement. Weapons are not permitted at engagements unless lawfully carried by licensed security staff hired by the client and disclosed to Palooza in advance.

6. Outside-engagement contact

Talent placed by Palooza are engaged on a per-engagement basis. Clients may not attempt to contact, identify, or engage talent outside the Palooza engagement, and talent may not solicit clients outside the engagement. This protects both parties and is essential to the integrity of the service.

7. Reporting

If you witness or experience a breach of this Code, please report it to support@palooza.me. Reports are handled confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report is itself a breach of this Code.

8. Enforcement

Breach of this Code may result in immediate termination of the engagement, forfeiture of fees paid, removal from our platform, refusal of future engagements, civil claims for damages caused, and reporting to law-enforcement authorities where appropriate.
