Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how cancellations are handled. It works alongside our Refund Policy — that page sets out the monetary outcome of a cancellation; this page sets out how to cancel and what happens operationally.

1. How to cancel

To cancel an engagement, write to support@palooza.me with your booking reference and the reason for cancellation. The cancellation takes effect when we acknowledge it in writing.

Where you have an active account on our platform, you may also cancel from the relevant booking screen. The same timestamp rules below apply.

2. Cancellation by the client

  • 24 hours or more before the engagement start time — 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before — no refund.

The cut-off is the engagement start time stated on the Proposal, in the Proposal's stated time zone.

3. Cancellation by Palooza or assigned talent

If Palooza or the assigned talent cancels for any reason — including illness, travel disruption, safety concern, or non-availability — you receive, at your option, (a) a full refund of all amounts paid for that engagement, or (b) rescheduling to another mutually agreed date at no additional fee.

4. Force majeure

Where an engagement cannot proceed because of events outside reasonable control (natural disasters, civil unrest, government action, illness, or similar), we will work with you in good faith to reschedule. Where rescheduling is not possible, fees paid less reasonable non-recoverable costs already incurred (such as venue deposits) will be refunded.

5. Termination for breach

We may cancel an engagement immediately and without refund if you breach our Code of Conduct or Acceptable Use Policy, or if completing the engagement would require Palooza or any talent to act unlawfully or unsafely.

6. Disputes

If you believe a charge was not what you agreed, please write to support@palooza.me with your booking reference. We respond within one business day and can usually resolve disputes faster than your bank can. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution.
